Sink clogged beyond trap.

To remove the trap arm loosen the slip nut and slide the trap arm from the drain line stub out. We tried to plunger the drains but no amount of pressure can get the water level to drop. Next inspect the p trap and trap arm for a clog. Does the cup of water fall immediately into the container.
